Founded in Georgia in 1985 as a weekly jam band, Widespread Panic has grown into a nationally touring band that has sold well over three million albums. Playing as many as 250 shows a year, Widespread Panic has built a large fanbase. The band holds sellout records at Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Denver (23 shows), Oak Mountain Amphitheatre near Birmingham, Ala. (17 shows), Philips Arena in Atlanta (15 shows), and UNO Lakefront Arena in New Orleans (18 shows).
