Ricky Skaggs is a country and bluegrass singer, musician and composer. He plays fiddle, guitar, banjo, and, primarily, mandolin. His music career began in 1970 when he joined the Clinch Mountain Boys, a famous bluegrass band headed by Ralph Stanley. In 1981 he released his debut album, Waitin' For The Sun To Shine, which produced two number one hits, "Cryin' My Heart Out Over You" and "I Don't Care."
