Linda Ronstadt is a multi-Grammy-winning, multi-platinum selling singer most closely associated with the folk rock and country rock genres that prevailed throughout the 1970s. Though an occasional songwriter herself, she is better known as an interpreter of other songwriters' works. After the critical and commercial success in the 1970s with chart-topping albums such as Heart Like A Wheel, Simple Dreams and Living In The USA, Ronstadt became the most famous female vocalist of the Rock era.
