Peter Yorn is a rock singer, songwriter and guitarist. He got his start in 1990 drumming for his band in a high school talent contest when someone suggested he sing The Replacements song, "Talent Show." That went over so well, a competing band asked him to sing Neil Young’s "Rockin’ In the Free World" with them. Pete Yorn's debut album went gold on the strength of the lead single, "Life on a Chain" (along with the songs "Strange Condition" and "Lose You" making appearances in movies and TV shows). His follow-up, Day I Forgot, went on to sell over 300,000 copies.
